strip it all back and at the end of the day we're just apes.
APE — Animal Portfolio
Enthusiast. that's the whole thing. that's all it
ever was.
because all we ever cared about was animals. not tech. not
tokenomics. not the roadmap. a creature with a face. if it had fur,
scales, feathers or a snout, we were already in.
every cycle it's the same. dogs, then cats, then frogs, then
whatever went viral at the zoo that week. we tell ourselves we're
early to something. we're just early to another animal.
and here's the part nobody says out loud: it works. no team. no
product. no fundamentals. a picture of a creature with a face, and
a chart that only went one way. we're not investors. we're out here
getting rich off animals.
the guy with the spreadsheet is down bad. the guy who bought a frog
in a hoodie at 3am because it made him laugh is up 40x and buying a
house. no thesis. no dd. just animal. that's the market. that's
been the market the whole time.
every green candle this year had a snout on it. every bag that
actually paid out was something with fur, feathers or scales.
we stopped pretending that was a coincidence.
so your portfolio isn't a portfolio. it's a zoo. half the cages are
open and the other half you're still holding because he's got little
hands and you couldn't do it to him.
paste your wallet up there and the ledger shows every animal you
graced upon after this last huge animal meta run through july, and
what it did to you. no cope. no "up on paper." at the end of the
day, just apes.
